We could definitely dive into a number of examples and I might piece some more together. A critical part of this is, as you've identified, understanding where PaaS fits. I do not consider it a subset of PaaS. Are Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop (applications)  subsets of operating systems? Absolutely not. They are hosted by the OS, but not really a subset. Same applies for SaaS/PaaS. SaaS apps live within the bounds of a PaaS</description>

		<description>If you can substantiate your argument on PaaS with similar examples it will be easier to understand. I do not know if my understand is right or wrong but I used to consider SaaS as a subset of PaaS, at least in most of the cases.</description>
